June is the prime time to visit Yosemite NP. No word can adequately describe its stunning beauty. Every turn of the road unveils a new spectacular view of the towering granite mountains, magnificent water falls, and green meadows sprinkled with wild flowers. The winding 52 mile scenic Tioga road leads to the sub-alpine landscape with snow covered mountains, fragile meadows and sparkling lakes. On our way back, we saw a giant black bear crossing the highway! It ran across the road at a stunning speed in broad daylight. We almost hit it with our rental car! That was the high point of the trip. :) |
