White sand national monument

The White Sand NM is located inside the white sand missle range, where the world's first atomic bomb was tested in 1945. The sand is suger white under dry conditions (most of summer). But when we were there, there was too much snow. The sand looked cream with white snow on top of it. With white top mountains at the back drop, white sand NM was quite a view.
