Maui has many world class beaches, from the blue water Makena beach, to super expensive Wailea resort ocean fronts, to surfer's heaven Hoopika beach, to the more exotic black sand and red sand beaches. Check out this video clip for the huge waves on Hoopika beach. Many of these beachs are great for swimming and snorkeling. We really enjoyed swiming on the Makena (big) beach. Sunset on the Wailea beach is just fantastic.
