Lake Powell is an artifical lake created by the Glen Canyon Dam at Page, Arizona. Its surrounding area is now designated as the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Lake Powell is a very beautiful place with deep blue water and colorful rocky shores. Since it is a reservoir, many canyons in this area becomes small islands or waterways after the water level rose. That creates a lot of opportunities for boaters to explore in those canyons. We took a boat trip into the antelope canyon in Lake Powell.
