Blue Angels Air Show 2002 04 06:Fighter Jets |

Wings Over South Texas -- Fighter Jets Other than the blue angel FA-18 Hornets, there are a number of other fighter jets in display. The most eye catching display is the strangely shaped F-117 stealth fighter/bomber. Its shaped is designed to minimize radar reflection and the detail remains as a top secret. Army/air force's A-10 warthog attack jets also attracted a lot of attention. It is a very powerful ground attack weapon and is currently deployed in Afghanistan. I have taken pictures when they flew an A-10 across the air field. Other important fighter jets in display include: Air force's most popular fighter jet F-16 Falcon; Navy's F-18 Hornet and F-14 Tomcat. There is even a MiG-17 (China's most popular J-7) jet flying around in the show! It is used in Korean war! |
